"A blend of Touriga Nacional, Souzão and Tinta Cão, this unique wine begins with blackberry, dark cherry, cocoa powder, nutmeg, and earthy aromas. Swirling brings plums, dried figs, and notes of sandalwood, mushrooms, sage, and violets. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied, with lots of red fruit, citrus, and earthy flavors. The mid-palate tension and acid presentation here are outstanding, with soft, but present tannins and a very pleasant texture. The wine keeps evolving sip after sip with a combination of sweet and savory flavors, and without losing its freshness. A rarity in WA, this phenomenal Portuguese-style blend can be enjoyed now or in the next 10+ years."
