TASTING NOTES

"With a medium gold color, this barrel fermented Chardonnay begins intense and floral on the nose, with a beautiful combination of ripe fruit and citrus aromas. Yellow apple, dried pineapple, marzipan, and white flowers to begin. The wine opens to honeycomb, orange marmalade, honeysuckle, and a nice touch of oak spice, with peaches and cream. The mouthfeel is broad but fresh, with remarkable volume and fantastic energy. Flavors of ripe stone fruit, dried tropical fruits, and butterscotch are framed by beautiful texture and acidity, without losing the oak spice and florality. Medium bodied, this delicious Chardonnay finishes long, layered, and energetic, with a saline touch. An end-to-end Chardonnay that you can drink now or in the next 10 years."
